Does Florida DOC offer early release or parole? My inmate sentenced in 2016 for 2nd deg murder-Jan2014, has a sch rel date of Feb 2030. Also, why would he be transferred to NW FL. Reception Center Annex from Jefferson CI?

Florida gives 15% good time credits at the beginning of their sentence. Parole is set by the judge at the time of sentnecing. If the judge allows for parole, then the offender will be eligible to apply at the 1/3 mark in their sentence. The transfers are internal and we would only be guessing as to why (it's not always something negative).
