Ok my fiance has got a sentence for 44 to 65 months to serve does it start at 65 and he have to work down to 44, and can he get parole when he gets to the 44? Any advice u have for him, and can he get out earlier than the 44. I love him and am waiting on him it's really hard to deal with bc he doesn't get but so many phone calls at the processing camp.

The one good thing is that he is in a camp. That environment is almost like the military base instead of jail. State inmates that are offered parole are done so at about the 1/3 mark of their low number. Camp inmates are already considered low risk and are afforded the lowest custody level. If he does EVERYTHING that his counselor asks of him, he will get to that Parole Board hearing quickly.
