If I use inmate aid to send a letter, can the inmate use one of the nine I purchased to respond to me?

the inmate responds via postal mail costing them a postage stamp ($0.55). prisons and jails will give inmates stamps, paper and pens if they don't have money on their books to purchase from the commissary.
