My husband was granted a FI2 and the future release date is unspecified 1/2018, then was moved to a trustee work camp. i was told he would be released prior to jan 2018 ... how will i know when?

You might be able to call the facility and ask for a counselor. In most cases, these people are very helpful. However, your inmate already knows his release date. Once they have made it to a work camp, the release date is around the corner.
