Notification of Status of Inmate
Registration with CT SAVIN is not the same as registration with the Connecticut Judicial Branch Office of Victim Services (OVS) and/or the State of Connecticut Department of Correction (DOC). CT SAVIN provides notification messages regarding court related events.

Important Information
Notification from CT SAVIN should be just one part of your safety plan. Do not depend only on the CT SAVIN service or any other single program for your protection. If you feel you may be at risk, take precautions. If you have any questions about your protection, please call your local police department.
CT SAVIN notification messages will be left on an answering machine. You may not want a child or other household member to hear a CT SAVIN message. Please register a telephone number that the child or other household members will not answer when this is the case.
In order to make sure that you get your notification, do not register a telephone number that rings to a switchboard.
A 4 digit personal identification number (PIN) must be given to stop the notification telephone calls.
