The CMHIP stands as a correctional facility hospital situated at 1600 W 24th St in Pueblo, CO. The CMHHIP is a 516-bed acute care psychiatric facility providing inpatient behavioral health services for adults, adolescents, and geriatric patients. As a forensic hospital, CMHHIP evaluates individuals with pending criminal charges, those deemed incompetent to proceed (restoration treatment), and individuals found "not guilty by reason of insanity." Visits from patients' families, friends, and loved ones are encouraged to maintain relationships during hospitalization.
