The Community Corrections Division Cocoa CRC in Brevard County is privately owned and contracted by government lease and consists of six community-based programs that supervise both pre-sentenced and sentenced offenders, prioritizing public safety and cost-effective alternatives to incarceration. Working in collaboration with the Work Release Center located at 585 Camp Rd Florida, FL, and other criminal justice agencies, the division oversees thousands of offenders in the community.

The Release Center provides program beds for 84 male inmates, that provide intensive substance abuse treatment and value-added services to men with a remaining sentence of 18 months. The CRC offers them an opportunity to reintegrate into society and rebuild their lives.
