All individuals arrested by the Echols County Sheriff’s Office are transported to the Lowndes County Jail and housed in their facilities. Visitation appointments must be scheduled Monday – Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. by calling 229-671-3000. Visiting hours are Saturday and Sunday beginning at 8:00 a.m. and the last appointment at 4:00 p.m. There will be no walk-in visits. You must be 18 years of age and have valid identification (Drivers License, state-issued I.D., Military I.D.). No other identification will be accepted.
