This multifaceted facility accommodates inmates of maximum, medium, and minimum security levels, charged with crimes ranging from multiple murders to public drunkenness. In accordance with state code, all inmates are charged a dollar-a-day fee to offset the costs of their incarceration. Upon entry, inmates undergo a standard 48-72 hours intake period for TB/medical clearance before classification into the General Population. Those showing signs of illness after this period are transferred to a medical observation unit for further 10-day monitoring. Inmates are checked daily for symptoms and, if necessary, quarantined in negative airflow cells, albeit retaining privileges akin to the general population, including access to tablets, telephones, television, and non-contact visitation.

All inmates have access to inmate tablets for communication and receive a free 5-minute phone call weekly, starting each Monday. Additionally, mental health counseling and psychiatric visits are available to all inmates, ensuring comprehensive support and care within the facility.
