The Natrona Regional Juvenile Detention Center is used by multiple jurisdictions within Wyoming who have arranged and organized to construction and administering of the facility. This soi a direct-supervision institution where the inmates are housed in pods with two-man cells aligning one wall arranged on two floors. There is a large common area where the tables and chairs are affixed to the floor on TV. The showers are open to the room, too.
An inmate's day starts with wake-up at 5:30 a.m. and breakfast is served from 6-6:30 am. Offenders report to their assigned jobs at 7:30 am Every offender who is physically able has a job in the prison system. Offenders are not paid for their work, but they can earn privileges as a result of good work habits. Offenders also learn job skills that can help them find employment when released from their commitment term.
