Any books or magazines not received directly from the publisher will be rejected and not delivered to the inmate. ACI accommodates female inmates in close and medium custody housing units and male offenders in a minimum custody unit, with a total capacity of 1,675 inmates. The facility offers a diverse range of educational, vocational, and training programs for both men and women.
One notable program at Anson CI is operated by Correction Enterprises, focusing on an offender packaging operation in partnership with Union Supply Direct through the Prison Industry Enhancement Program (PIE). This initiative allows family and friends to order a package of goods from a pre-approved shopping list to send to an inmate. These orders are then packaged by offenders and shipped out quarterly, facilitating communication and support from outside the institution.
