The Jean Camp serves as a minimum-custody state prison accommodating approximately 240 adult female inmates in Nevada. It stands as the sole facility within the state designated to house female offenders. Operating under the Nevada Division of Forestry (NDF), inmates at JCC actively engage in firefighting duties during the fire season, contribute to conservation projects, conduct highway clean-up operations for the Department of Transportation, and provide assistance to the local community.

Entry and departure times shall be enforced with exceptions for emergency departures or pre-approved early departures obtained by the Facility Manager.

Legal Visitation is by appointment only and can be scheduled with the camp manager or caseworker.
