New York City Police Department Jail (ALL Precincts) is an administrative office. The City Jail Administrative Offices oversee inmates within their jurisdiction. The goal is to provide fair correctional practices and manage the individual Jails that inmates are housed at. The New York Administrative Office does not house inmates, but rather provides services to support the officers working in New York prisons.
