The Osceola Co Jail is a detention center located at 402 Simpson Rd Kissimmee, FL which is operated locally by the Osceola County Sheriff's Office and holds inmates awaiting trial or sentencing or both. Most of the sentenced inmates are here for less than two years. Osceola County accepts inmates from surrounding towns, Kissimmee Police Department, and the US Marshal's Service.

New detainees arrive at the jail regularly, with some being released on bail, placed under pretrial services caseloads, supervised by probation agencies, or released on recognizance with a court appearance agreement. Those who are not released await their court appearances at the jail, receiving accommodations including bedding and meals.

The renovations included refurbishing administrative, intake, and medical areas, adding direct supervision areas, multi-purpose areas, and a kitchen. The facility offers a variety of healthcare services, including initial medical screenings, constant nurse staffing, and daily sick calls.

Committed to inmate education and self-improvement, the department collaborates with volunteers and contract service providers to offer numerous programs.

Inmates at the Osceola County Correctional Facility have ample opportunities to make phone calls, which are generally unlimited. All calls, except those with an attorney, are recorded and monitored. ICSolutions provides prepaid phone services, which can be set up via a Prepaid Account for specific phone numbers or a Debit Telephone Account for calls to any number. A free 60-second call is offered initially, followed by assistance from a Customer Care Representative.

Books and magazines ordered for inmates at the County Jail must be sent directly from the publisher. This policy ensures that the materials are new, untampered, and in compliance with the facility's regulations. The restriction of orders to publishers is a security measure to prevent the introduction of contraband or prohibited materials into the jail. By enforcing this rule, the facility maintains better control over the content entering the institution, thereby enhancing security. Any books or magazines not received directly from the publisher will be rejected and will not be delivered to the inmate.
