The UDC - Southwest Utah Youth Center is within the jurisdiction of the Utah Department of Juvenile Justice located at 270 E 1600 N, Cedar City, UT.

The program is geared towards achieving specific objectives, such as safeguarding the community, instilling accountability among youths, and conducting early screening and assessment to address underlying issues. Tailored to individual circumstances as determined by the Utah Juvenile Court, the length of stay targets delinquent youths aged 12-17 deemed to pose a significant risk to the community. By addressing immediate safety concerns and advancing rehabilitation efforts, the program aims to facilitate the successful reintegration of youths into society.
