Visitation Hours

Visiting hours for Knox Co WRC are subject to change, so it's crucial to confirm them by contacting the facility directly by phone. Please reach out to 865-281-6700, on visitation procedures, applications, or directions to the facility in Knoxville. Please note that visitors will undergo a thorough search before entering the premises, and personal belongings, including cell phones, are strictly prohibited. Individuals under probation, parole, or community corrections supervision must obtain approval from their supervising officer and the superintendent before visiting, although such visits are not typically approved.

General Visitation Information

Inmates are allowed two scheduled visits a week. To schedule a visit please create an account and schedule a visit here correctpay.com. On-site visitations conducted for the Work Release Center are held at the Roger D. Wilson Detention Facility On-Site internal visitation center at 5109 Maloneyville Road.

If you do not have a home computer or access to the internet, once you create an account you may use internal onsite visitation Public kiosks located at the Visitation Center to conduct your visits.

On-site visitation hours:

  • Monday – Friday 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. After Workers Return
  • Saturday & Sunday Morning Hours 8:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
  • Saturday & Sunday Afternoon Hours 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Off-site visitation hours:

  • Monday – Friday 4:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. After Workers Return
  • Saturday & Sunday Morning Hours 8:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
  • Saturday & Sunday Afternoon Hours 3:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Scheduled Remote Visitation - Family and friends utilizing a home computer, tablet, or other internet device may contact an inmate during the scheduled visitation hours listed by Scheduled Remote Visitation.

Inmate Unscheduled Video Out - In addition to the Unscheduled calls from home, Inmates are allowed to call out on an unscheduled video chat. The cost of the unscheduled chat calling out is paid out of the inmate's account.
