Visitation Hours
Visiting hours for Marion Co TC are subject to change, so it's crucial to confirm them by contacting the facility directly by phone. Please reach out to 503-588-8572, on visitation procedures, applications, or directions to the facility in Salem. Please note that visitors will undergo a thorough search before entering the premises, and personal belongings, including cell phones, are strictly prohibited. Individuals under probation, parole, or community corrections supervision must obtain approval from their supervising officer and the superintendent before visiting, although such visits are not typically approved.
General Visitation Information
Visiting Dates and Times
- Saturday: A Dorm 11:30 am - 12:30 pm; B Dorm 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm
- Sunday: C Dorm 9:30 am - 10:30 pm; D Dorm 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Visits will only take place on Saturdays and Sundays. The Sheriff's Office will post the visiting times and lengths in each of the living units and in the Transition Center lobby.
General visitors should arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled visiting session. The doors will open at approximately 10 minutes before the session for check-in. The doors will be locked 10 minutes after the scheduled visiting session starts and further entry will not be allowed after this time. Visitors who arrive more than 10 minutes late to the scheduled visit time will not be allowed entry and their visit for the week will be cancelled. If the visitor leaves the visiting/lobby area after general visiting has started, the visit will be terminated. The visitor will have the opportunity to return on the next scheduled visiting time and day.
