I sent a money order to Gonzales County Jail in Tx, He said I didn't need to put the inmate ID, just his name by the Jails Address, was this correct information? Or was my money just sent to the jail??

there is no way for us to know if what you did was correct or not. you should definitely call the facility and tell them what you didi and if the money made it there.
