Is there any way for cheaper calls? My husband is in scioto county jail and the calls are outrageous. Just looking for some cheaper ways to go

The phone service at the Scioto County Jail is set up through a bid process. Securus has the contract for all inmate outbound calling and to tape record the calls. Therefore, you have to use them to receive calls. The choice is whether you pay Securus about $6.00 for a 15-minute local call or about $8.15 to any number in Ohio. We would get you a number from outside the state and the cost of the calls would be about $3.00.
