My daughter is mentally ill....adult protective service was suppose to help her but they didnt....now she has a drug charge because he called cops instead of getting her help. If guards can tell shes not all there is she segrated from the othr girls??? Does somebody take her to appointments if she has any? R guards mean to her?

If your daughter has documented records that she is mentally ill, the administration is there to make sure that the inmate's custody level suits their profile. This is not like television, if she is in general population it is more likely that the inmates will take a liking to her and recognize her situation and help her get through this time. Jail enviroment creates an amazing study of the human spirit - it's not all predatory and horrible. It's a lot of sitting around trying to find the best way to deal with boredom.
