The Clerk of the Court in the county where he is or was held. You can request all of the documents pertaining to his case. There might be a small charge to copy your request, but it will be the most accurate information avaiable to you.

Please send their information to us and we will set it up for you. Inmate Name, DOB, State, Facility name and Inmate ID number. If you are missing any of these, we will locate them for you.

They might have an inmate number and an A-number (for alien) that is issued by Immigration

Some of the jurisdiction websites have the information posted and others do not. The websites that charge for the information are getting their data at a cost to them. If it were indeed "free", then the pay sites would not be in business at all.
