Read moreDepending on where the visit takes place, the general rule is that you may bring twenty dollars in coins and/or small bills and it must be brought in a clear, see-through purse/container. Some places allow you to bring a little more money, but the rules are still the same. Also, remember that this is to be used for the vending machines, you must make the purchase, don't let the inmate even touch the money whatsoever.
