Q: Wondering if the information in pre-inmate aid section can be sent to the inmate. Inmate aid sent some material with the letter I sent him though this service and he is interested in the articles for pre and post inmate aid. anyway to get that to him?
Q: How does voluntary deportation work? Do you have to have a conviction prior to doing so or can you bypass the time it takes for proceedings? How long does the process take for the inmate to be deported? If he is a permanent resident of U.S. is this even an option for him if he is a German citizen? Can ICE deny him the voluntary deportation and keep him detained in immigration court pending outcome? How does this play out if he is detained for charges in North Dakota and also is on bail in california? How does it work if he has court for both cases on the same day and he is being held in another state? so many questions, Thank you
Q: are there any resources available for investigators? If he has an attorney can he still get an investigator for his case? apparently he was caught in a much bigger net and with him being a permanent resident of US but not a citizen we want to provide him with the best outcome. Also the charges are dated 03-13 but arrested on the 15th? How is this possible? when and if they have a warrant do they need to state so and show the warrant at time of arrest?
Q: The new discount telephone service is this only for prison or for jail as well? I signed up and paid but now the status says pending. Will I be notified If I am unable to use the discounted service at his Mercer County Jail location?
Q: My inmate is having problems with his tooth and thinks he may need a root canal. Does he need to get dental insurance? He was told that if he goes to the dentist then his money he gets and has on his books will be taken to pay for the dental work. Is this true? Thanks for helping
Q: Can a inmate who has an immigration hold on him get married in the U.S prior to being deported?
Q: Is there anyway to follow the court documents filed and court dates scheduled once the charges are changed from State to Federal court. He is in the custody of the USM at Burliegh. I can only find information thru the Burliegh system which doesnt even list his current charges or scheduled court dates.
Q: Previously my inmate was at a facility that used Reliance telephone and they would not work with your discount. I was reimbursed. He has now been moved to Rugby ND at the Heart of America Correctional Facility and they use Securus. Do they work with your discounted phone service? the rates are over $17.00 for 15 min. Pricey. Can you help?
