Answers From Ask The Inmate
Q: I don't know if this question falls under this category but my partner comes up for parole in May 2015 (did 12 of 15) and he wrote one half-way house and did not receive a response. Do you have a list of possible Residential Rentry Centers within the State of Texas as well as in the state of Florida that can be reviewed and contacted. Thank you very very much!
Q: Thank you for your response. At this current time, he does not have an Attorney or any relative in Texas who are willing to list their address as a place to parole to. He thought that if maybe he would be able to provide a list of possible Residential Rentry Centers that have space for him, that the Parole Board will consider those options when he comes up for parole. So is the only way to be considered for these halfway houses are by referral of a counselor or case manager? Also, what do you think the likely hood would be of an offender attempting to be released on parole to a home with an individual who caught the charge with him? Just curious.
