Answers From Ask The Inmate
Q: Hi My boyfriend just got sent to Jackson. He was sentenced to four years. They gave him a Max release date of August 29, 2016. He was put on probation August 29,2012. He has been locked up since 12-15-14. They told him they were gonna give him time served since August 30,2012 and According to him he said that means he has already served most of his time and will be getting released in 4 to 6 weeks. That they won't keep him till August 29, 2016 his Max release date. Could you please help me understand this a little better because I'm thinking he has to do 1 year and then he will get out but he is saying no the DA and the court said he would get 4 to 6 weeks he just had to get put into the system.
Q: Okay I'm responding back to yall in a little more detail for some reason there was a error message that wouldn't allow me to respond to your question...Okay Yes He was put onto probation August 30,2012 it was for 5 years 9 months. He has been incarcerated since 12-15,14...When he went to court on the VOP they revoked it and gave him 4 years. But they told him they were gonna give him credit for time served since August 30, 2012 till now. That would be over three years already done right. I seen his court papers from his sentencing and it does say they are give him credit Since August 30,2012. It didn't make sense to me either until I seen his court papers saying credit since August 30, 2012. When I looked at his Max possible release date it said August 30, 2016 which was exactly 1 year from now. So y'all think it might actually be around the seventh month mark before he actually gets out if nothing happens and hes good? That would be around February 2016? Right. Thank you for responding back to me I'm also trying to make sense of this.
Q: I just checked my husband's TPM status and it changed from N/A to No inmate found for the info you entered! What does that mean? Could that mean they are in the process of moving him and took his info down until he has been moved? I'm so worried He was supposed to call and I haven't heard from him please help me thanks
