Q: Went to visit my son today who is waiting for federal sentencing which is coming soon. He tells me that he understands he might get United States Penitentiary instead of Federal penitentiary. What is or is there a difference between the two. He does have a criminal back ground. Has not yet been determined if he is going to fall into the career criminal yet, but believe he does.
