Q: My son was given a recommendation by the judge to the RDAP program but I've heard that a recommendation isn't a guarantee that he will get in. How does he go about getting on the list to be considered? (He has been sentenced but is not yet in a prison.) Thank you!

Q: My son is at FCI Phoenix and I am going for my first visit this weekend. Can you tell me how the process works? He stated that I should just show up and then CO's will get him. I'm concerned about crowding. Does this prisons visitation area typically fill up early? I am driving over 6 hrs and would hate to be turned away. Any info you can give me would be really helpful. Q: Do you have any recommendations for finding felon friendly housing in Oceanside CA or neighboring cities? My son is set for release in April of 2015 and I need to find an apartment/house for us rent that the BOP will approve AND the landlord will accept him. He was convicted of a drug charge, no violence or sexual offenses. Thanks in advance for any ideas or help you can send!
