Visitation Hours

The County Jail provides on-site and online visitation options to help inmates maintain contact with family and friends.

On-Site Visitation Hours

  • Monday: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Thursday: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Sunday: 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Holidays - call for available times and reserve yours as these days are the busiest times of the year

Visitors must follow the dress code and behavior guidelines whether they are visiting here or from their computer/smartphone. Violations may result in the termination of the visit.

Online Video Visitation
Online visits can be scheduled in advance, allowing remote connection from home or work. Visitors must set up an account and adhere to dress and behavior guidelines. Visits cost a minimum of $0.25 per minute and are monitored for security.

General Visitation Information

The Minimum Standards for Jails, states that inmates can have 30 minutes of visitation a week. This time will be given in 15-minute block Two (2) times per week. This means that inmates have 15 minutes during the scheduled time to visit up to Four (4) visitors. This, however, does not mean a 15-minute visit for each visitor. Please Note: All visitation times can be suspended for disciplinary actions caused by the inmate.

  • A-Block Saturday 8:30 pm - 9:30 pm and Tuesday 8:30 am - 9:30 am
  • B-Block Sunday 6:00 pm - 6:45 pm and Tuesday 8:30 am - 9:30 am
  • C-Block Saturday 8:30 pm - 9:30 pm and Wednesday 9:30 am - 10:30 am
  • D-Block Sunday 7:30 pm - 8:15 pm and Wednesday 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm
  • E-Block Sunday 8:30 pm - 9:30 pm and Wednesday 8:30 am - 9:30 am
  • F-Block Sunday 7:30 pm - 7:30 pm and Tuesday 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm
  • G-Block Saturday 8:00 pm - 8:30 pm and Tuesday 8:00 am - 8:30 am
  • H-Block Saturday 7:00 pm - 7:30 pm and Wednesday 8:00 am - 8:30 am

VISITATION RULES & REGULATIONS:

  1. Visitors must be 18 years old to visit.
  2. All inmates must be here for five (5) complete days before they are entitled to a visit.
  3. Inmates are allowed one (1) half-hour visit per week. Maximum Four (4) visitors allowed.
  4. No contact visits.
  5. Visitor name MUST be on the inmate’s current visitation list. It is the responsibility of the inmate to request a visitation list.
  6. Inmates who are attending an activity will not be removed to have a visit. Visitors may return at another scheduled visitation time.
  7. Visitors should leave all valuables (i.e. purses, cell phones, wallets, coats, etc.) secured in their cars. THE HOLMES COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS.
  8. ALL VISITORS MUST WEAR SHOES. NO BARE MIDRIFFS, LOW-CUT TOPS, TANK TOPS, SHORTS, MINI SKIRTS, SEE-THROUGH CLOTHING, OR GANG COLORS WILL BE PERMITTED.
  9. All visitors must have a valid photo I.D.
