The county jails do not accept any form of health insurance - and it's because your insurance doesn't cover you while incarcerated. If he needs dental work or especially a root canal, then he will definitely have money taken from his account to cover the cost. Generally speaking prisons do not allow clothing to be shipped into a prison (there are some exceptions). Prisons provide clothing and the commissary has workout clothing that can be bought and then worn when not in uniform. Our advice is to wait until your inmate can provide information about that facility and whether or not they allow it.
